ButterflyMX offers secure, convenient, and affordable property access for building owners, staff, residents, and visitors. PENSA worked with Butterfly MX to design their next-generation video intercom system, creating a new warm, welcoming, brand-driven experience. ButterflyMX intercoms offer industry-leading technology and services in 10,000+ multifamily, commercial, and gated communities. PENSA built on the brand’s success with a warm, inviting, and intuitive building entry experience that considers the needs of residents and visitors and building management and installers.
The design of the new ButterflyMX video intercoms creates a new icon for the brand, balancing an approachable and inviting form language with a precise fit and finish. The PENSA designers and engineers worked with the Butterfly MX development teams to maintain the concept vision while solving the challenging product requirements. The units are easy to install on a variety of architectures. Iterative ideation and prototyping lead to forms, materials, and assemblies suitable for waterproofing and heat dissipation.
