D.I.Wire

Inventing A Desktop Fabrication Instrument

2012 - 2017
Role: Lead Designer, Pensa
From concept to full production

The DIWire, conceived, designed, engineered and developed by Pensa, is the world’s first desktop CNC wire bender. A new archetype for desktop manufacturing and rapid prototyping, the DIWire transforms drawn curves into a bent wire that can be assembled to make just about anything. It can bend from fine wire to rod and tube in materials ranging from steel to plastic. The DIWire’s simple plug and play software along with its fast and accurate output enable anyone to explore their creativity.
I led all design work for D.I.Wire including design direction, brand components, CMF, and refinement.
